WYANDOTTE VIRTUAL FAMILY 5K HAWK WALK/RUN
Help support Wyandotte Elementary School's brand new Virtual 5K Hawk Walk/Run fundraiser! It's a fun family run/walk to raise money for our school. Hawk families and friends can register online and complete the 5k Walk/Run on our school grounds or anywhere!
Unfortunately, we can not hold our annual 5K Walk/Run and Fun Fair due to Covid 19 safety guidelines. So this year we have decided to do a “virtual” family 5K Walk/Run! This safe family fundraiser can be done on our school grounds or anywhere. If you participate on our school grounds there will be a walk/run course around our school with areas for you to stop and take “selfies”. If you want to know your running time we will even have an app for you to get your official walk/run time! All we ask is that you register online and post your selfies to show your family and friends that you support our Hawks!

$100 Family - Free Family Registration and a Sign to decorate that will be displayed along the 5K course.
$200 Donation - Name listed on Hawk Walk Partners Plaque displayed at school entrance. Recognized in Hawk Walk Newsletter, Name listed on Hawk Run/Walk T-shirt, Free family registration, and a Sign to decorate and be displayed along the school running course.

ENTRY FEES
Adult Individual: $25.Includes one Hawk Walk t-shirt (shirts guaranteed to those who register by April 27), IYR virtual timing app, water, and various freebies.
Kids 5K Run/Walk (Ages 12 and Under): $15. Includes one Hawk Walk t-shirt (shirts guaranteed to those who register by April 27), IYR virtual timing app, water, and various freebies.
Online registration is available now through May 10.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED FOR THOSE WHO REGISTER AFTER APRIL 23!

IMPORTANT: HOW TO PARTICIPATE AND SUBMIT YOUR TIME FOR THE VIRTUAL RUN
Please download the IYR Virtual Mobile App on App Store or Google Play and read the instructions here:
This app will allow you to run your virtual race and automatically track your pace, distance and overall time. The app will recognize the race distance that you registered for and will automatically stop your session at the appropriate distance (eg 3.1 miles for a 5K virtual race) and send your results in. It's the closest thing you can get to running a real race!
***MAKE SURE YOU LOGIN USING THE SAME EMAIL YOU REGISTERED WITH. ALSO, MAKE SURE YOUR LOCATION SETTINGS ARE ON AND ALWAYS TURNED ON AND ACCESSIBLE BY THE APP***
