“Riverside FD 9-1-1 Mud Run/5K”

This is really two events, a traditional 5K race and a 5K Mud Run complete with challenges (must be 13 years or older to participate in the Mud Run, but the standard 5K is open to kids under 13 with guardian permission). The mud and challenges add excitement to a traditional 5K. You will have to crawl, climb, carry, as you make your way along the 5K course. After participating, we invite you to join us at the post race celebration which includes a homemade chili dinner and desserts!
Directions: Race will start and finish at the Riverside Jaycees Haunted House. Take Springfield St. exit off Woodman Dr. Turn opposite direction from Air Force Museum. Turn right on Old Harshman Rd. Parking is available at the Wright Point Office Complex, 5100 & 5200 Springfield St.
Proceeds support fire prevention/education activities in the City of Riverside.
Check-in and Registration: 11:30am – 12:45pm Race starts at 1:00pm
Awards:
Fire Fighter Challenge: Top Male and Female finishers plus top 3 in age groups: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Traditional 5K: Top Male and Female finishers plus top 3 in the age groups: 10-under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Fees: (non-refundable) $25 for the 5K includes t-shirt and refreshments if registered by Sep 23, $35 for the Fire Fighter Challenge. Add $5 for registration after September 24 and on race day (shirt cannot be guaranteed).
