All money raised will benefit local patients of Fairfield Medical Center - specifically those battling cancer- through TWIG 1's direct support of the Cancer Care Fund.
The members of Fairfield Medical Center’s Memorial TWIG One are proud to announce the 5th annual Cancer Care Run & Walk scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2017. This 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk & Family Fun Run will start and end at Marten’s Park in Lancaster. Folks really came together to support the cause and the betterment of life in our own Lancaster community. We invite you to review the information below and consider a sponsorship, monetary contribution or in-kind donation.
All money raised by this event will benefit local patients battling cancer at Fairfield Medical Center through the Cancer Care Fund. This Fund was started by TWIG One in September of 2007 and over the past four years has grown to raise more than $140,000 for our cause. Nutritional supplements, wigs and diagnostic testing and surgeries for patients who could not afford them are just a few of the many things this fund helps to provide. Being able to receive treatment and support close to home is important to members of our community, and the TWIG One Cancer Care Fund is one way to make this possible.
You can also help to motivate Cancer Care Run participants and share inspiration by purchasing a Memorial Sign to be displayed on the race path, the day of the race, in honor of a loved one. Memorial signs and Cancer Care Run shirts can be purchased online this year.
We hope that you plan to join us for this special event. Let’s come together as a community to support our brave cancer patients and their family members and celebrate survivors as well. If you have any questions, or for more details, including registration, please visit us at www.twigone.com.
We want to thank you for your continued support of our efforts and all those who benefit from the life saving care provided by Fairfield Medical Center.
